The Heartbreak Run was the first race on Jim and Chuck Keen's new 4x8 track. HobbyTown USA in the Machesney Park mall provided space in the mall for us to hold the race. Concerns about the weather and heavy snow to the south kept the field small with ten each in Stock and Fray. The JL Race had nine drivers. In spite of the of the small track, the race did not turn into a "Cage Match", the number of wrecks was about normal.
